Title: Transforming Healthcare: How Smart Technologies Are Revolutionizing Patient Care
Abstract:
In my keynote presentation, I'll delve into the evolving landscape of healthcare systems, driven by the rapid advancement of technology and the increasing demands of modern life. We'll explore how edge and fog computing, augmented by 5G and IoT sensors, are revolutionizing healthcare delivery, offering real-time solutions tailored to individual needs while addressing energy consumption and latency concerns. Unlike traditional cloud-based models, these cutting-edge approaches show superior performance in various scenarios. We'll discuss recent trends, challenges, and management algorithms in edge and fog-based healthcare frameworks, as well as the integration of AI techniques for classification and prediction. However, despite their potential, these technologies also present challenges that we must overcome to enhance patient care. I'll conclude with recommendations for future research and insights into application placement and evolutionary algorithms aimed at optimizing smart healthcare systems.
